4 - Five albums I listen to a lot or that mean a lot to me.

Just five? Oh geez. Well, in no particular order:
1. August and Everything After by the Counting Crows has a lot of personal significance to me. I don't listen to it as much as I used to, mostly because I find the intense moodiness of the music and lyrics to be a bit of a downer. "A murder of one" is one of my (many) favorite songs though

2. Crawdaddy by the Darling Buds was the first album I ever bought for myself with my very own money. And I'm still thrilled with the purchase.

3. Mental Jewelry by Live is another album which I strongly associate with a specific time in my life (mostly because I listened to it nearly nonstop). Happily, this one is tied to a better time for me (when Todd and I were dating from afar). And I still listen to it a lot.

4. To Our Children's Children's Children by the Moody Blues. Great music, and I grew up on it. ~laughs~ I can still remember being disappointed at my first ever concert when they didn't perform "Gypsy" on stage.

5. Old Friends by Simon and Garfunkel (though this is kind of a cheating answer, since that's actually a box set, and not just one disc... ah well).

5 - Which 5 people are you passing this baton to, and why?

Hrm. I don't know. That's a challenge in and of itself. I would love to know *everyone's* taste in music, just 'cause. Also, with my sporadic reading habits over the last however long (helllooooo long weekend, yes, it was nice to see you!) I fear I'd pass the baton and someone would have already memed. So, I'll opt out of the peer-pressure portion.
