tingling in the extremities
Sep. 12th, 2005 08:13 amI am bemused and flattered to see that there are two nominations for me for that Babes of Xmas thing. My initial reaction when paging down the list and seeing my name went something like this: ~blink~ ~blink blink~ ~blinkityblinkblinkblink~ "Oh. It's still there. How'd that happen?"
I'm about a third of the way through Wolves of the Calla, and liking it, though I think I enjoyed Wizard and Glass better. It's been slow going just because I've been busy, though.
We had a nice visit with Evan this weekend. Lots of good conversation and laughter and things. We played some boggle (and I only won one game - wtf! I shall have to surrender my boggle champion title if I keep this up) and watched some anime (um... Those Who Hunt Elves (ridiculously silly but fun) and Go Nagai's DevilLady)) and played some PS2 games - we would have done more of that but for bad luck. We wanted to pick up a multitap so we could all play together, but it turns out that not all PS2 thingies are created equal, and we have an old model, for shame for shame, and while there are multitaps for them, nobody (around here at least) sells them. So I have this spiffy multitap to take back to BestBuy sometime this week.
One of the conversations worth note this weekend was a discussion of warning labels and how apt they are for people.
It goes on and on really. It's ridiculous.
