While drinking a soda from McDonald's I noticed a logo on the side of the cup. It reads "National Salute U.S. Military" and features the golden arches, stars, and stripes. This a) made me blink a lot and b) made me think a lot. "This military brought to you by McDonald's Corporation"??? I started contemplating capitalism and the invisible hand of Adam Smith (which in turn led to thinking that if he could see today's world he'd come back from the grave as a lich. [scary undead voice] You want to see my invisible hand, eh? ~cackle~ [/scary undead voice]) and privitization of the military (full scale versus privitization of the supplies, and that was an interesting meander in the mind, too). I must explore these thinky thoughts more later.

Also, my desk in the new office space is right under the air conditioner vent. Brrrrr.

Also also, when did R.E.M. become classic rock such that the classic rock station is playing their songs? 'Cause that's just wrong.
