be my unvalentine?
Feb. 8th, 2004 11:13 amHere's an incredibly amusing link yanked from Neil Gaiman's blog. I particularly like "you'll do". Heh.
In other news, I'm quite officially sick. I thought that maybe coming home early from work last night and lazing about would make the illness pick up and go packing, but no such luck. It has settled in for the long term, it seems, so I'm taking today off, too. Tomorrow I was scheduled off, though we have plans to take the kitty for his annual kitty torture session (i.e. vet's visit) and me for my quarterly happy hormone shot. It's like having a three day weekend, but with sickness and crappy errands! Wait, that sucks.
I'm trying to decide what to do with the day (other than that nebulous thing you're supposed to do when sick - rest). I could do more simple lazing about, play wizardry, play some tome, read various and nefarious books, et cetera. Or I could be productive, read up more on apache, try to get it configured and happy, figure out a new design for my website, clean the living room, do laundry... wow. Right now the first option is sounding nicer. But it always will. I let things pile up,and some of this stuff simply has to get done, and it won't get done by anybody other than me. Todd has too much actual work to do to. Hrmph. I'll procrastinate on what to do for a bit while I get my desk cleaned off and try to find that spiffy usb thingy that would let me plug my camera into the front of the computer rather than the back, which is utterly inaccesible. Is that how you spell inaccesible? I don't think so. Damn.
