rimble. it's like a ramble, but different.

tired. tired tired tired. we stayed up late last night and it was very fun, but i feel a bit that i'm paying for it now, and will be until closing tonight. at least i have a little while before i need to go to work. we went to lunch, and talked a lot of politics and state of the world stuff. most of it, however, sounds a lot more eloquent coming out of my mouth than out of my fingertips at this point in time, so i won't recap. it's nothing new, anyhow... we're both still just hashing out our ideas on a great many things, and it's so nice to be able to talk to someone else about them.

i put my hair up in a pony tail this morning, but it's already falling down in the front. my ex-bangs just aren't long enough to do this yet, it seems. hrmph. on a slightly more cheerful note, i'm looking forward, someday soon (when i'm not working and/or driving to PA) to going to a salon and having my hair done. heh. it'll rock. gotta grab these girly moments whenever i can...

i had three glasses of coke at lunch (would have had more, but the waiter rather consistently forgot about us) and i think perhaps this was not a good idea. the caffeine seems to already be wearing off, and i'm feeling even more tired than pre-lunch. fah. maybe, uh, if i drink some chai... man, i don't know how i'll make it to midnight tonight. hopefully we'll finish cleaning up a little early and it'll only be 11:30ish. yeah. that half hour makes all the difference.

couldn't pay the rent yesterday or today because the water bill didn't come, and office is closed (lucky duckies) so i can't ask them how much i owe.

tried calling my grandmother twice this afternoon and got a weird answering machine i'd never heard before... perhaps she's still with aunt evelyn. i don't know. :/

come to think of it, i've had quite a few "tried to but couldn't"s today. bah. better break that trend early on.
